Tuesday Thoughts

That's right, I now own this book. I found it at a thrift store a few weeks back and figured what the hell, might as well start reading up on it now and then I'll be ahead of the game, right? Mr. Husband just rolled his eyes and smirked at me. (he better be careful, I'm sure I could cite some kind of hormonal imbalance if I were to actually bring harm to him due to menopause, just saying)

Mom and I were shopping and I saw it and just burst out laughing, she didn't actually think I would buy it, so I did, just to prove a point. Have I actually looked at it? Nope, it's sitting on one of our bookshelves, right between Mr. Husband's collection of books, just to make a statement. (I'll get back to you on which statement I'm trying to accomplish, when I actually figure it out)

Should I glance through it? Probably. I have had some pretty weird shit going on with my body this last year and seeing that I hate anything that has to do with female reproduction and hormones, I can honestly say that I know nothing about it. I do know that hot flashes suck, that chills can kiss my butt, and that hormone fluctuation is for the damn birds. (Oh wait, and my other favorite thing, crying at any and everything. Commercials, tv shows, movies, books, and at Mr. Husband's sometimes failed attempts at humoring me or himself.) That's about the extent of my knowledge. And in all honesty, I would rather get my information from a book than a 65+ year old male doctor who is not only old, but probably crazy, and has never had a uterus or a period. I. HATE.BEING.A.WOMAN!
