Disneyland/California Adventure - This one is a huge thing for me. I never seem to get tired of these places. Most people who live in California go once every few years. I have been out here since 2008 and I've been there probably at LEAST 30 times. I love the rides, I love the atmosphere, and I love that I am married to a man who is a bigger kid than I am. There is never a dull moment when we go. (Remind me to tell you later how he spent hours under the "It's a Small World" ride in what they call "Disneyland Jail. How do you go to jail in one of the happiest places on Earth, seriously?)
Naps - Just in the past few years has this become one of my favorite hobbies. I love nothing more than a afternoon snooze before I have to expend all that energy actually eating dinner and staying awake until bedtime. It probably wouldn't be so bad if I were older, but seeing that i'm only 39 and rather cranky without them, I figure i'm ahead of the game. Won't be long and I'll be eating dinner at 3 with a strict bedtime following the 5 o'clock news.
Cartoons - Okay, who doesn't like a good cartoon? I love them but have to say that cartoons today seriously lack the coolness of the cartoons from my day. What happened to the good, old fashioned fun ones like Looney Toons, Smurfs, and Captain Caaaaaaaaaaavemaaaaaan? And who thought that replacing these decent cartoons with stuff like Beavis and Butthead, Family Guy, and Ren and Stimpy would make for better television viewing? I will be the first to say that even I love a good Stewie laugh, but if I had my choice, I would have much rather had my kids growing up to Yosemite Sam and Papa Smurf. Ahhh I miss the old days.
