Pet Peeve Mondays

Hey everybody? How was your weekend? Mine was pretty good, lots of blogging and relaxing time, and I had a date Saturday night with one of my besties, we went and saw a friends band play. It's always a nice way to spend a night.

• Permanent Markers - Did the makers of these neat little items actually test them? Do you know how many times I've used one on something, handled it at a later time, only to have my hand come back with black ink all over it and the words I had wrote were all faded and smudged? The only permanent thing about them is the fact that once it's on my pale skin, it takes forever to scrub it off. Not. Cool. Asshats!
• Sold Only On TV Items - I can deal with infomercials. I can deal with the odd prices they charge for their "you've never seen anything like this, it's the only thingamabob you will ever need, blah blah blah" routines. What irks me to no end, is if you order now, we will throw in a second one ABSOLUTELY free (postage and handling not included). First off, if it's the only thing I will ever need to buy, why do you feel like I need a second one? Is the first one going to break as soon as I use it? Doesn't say much for your product huh? Secondly, it's not free when I have to pay $5.99 extra on top of the original cost of the product and the shipping and handling of it as well. 
• Clear Tape - It's not so much the clear tape that gets me going, it's when you lose the tape off the tape dispenser and spend the next 30 minutes trying to find the end of it. It wouldn't be so difficult if they didn't have the little bumps in the roll which are very misleading. I am a girl who can't walk and chew gum at the same time, they really need to get their act together before I start gluing my wrapping paper shut. (haha I amuse myself sometimes) Scotch...get it right!
