Pet Peeve Mondays

Seeing that Mondays irritate most of us on a regular basic, I thought this would be a good weekly blog for things that set me/us off.

My biggest pet peeves, in no particular order of course...

Someone who drags their teeth across a fork. Seriously people, it's like nails on a chalkboard. Every time I hear it, I want to stab someone with a dull object repeatedly.

Grocery carts with one bad wheel. It never seems to fail, me + shopping = the one retarded cart out of the whole bunch that seems to have a mind of its own. It gets worse when you don't realize how bad the cart is until you get it halfway through the store only to have it go all spastic on you. By this time, I am not going to try to lead it back to the front to grab another, when all it wants to do is run me into inanimate objects repeatedly.

As a female who shares a bathroom with two males, these are two big ones. Do NOT use all but two squares of toilet paper without bringing in a new roll. I understand that you may not have to stop to wipe when you piss, but I prefer wiping rather than my finger going through a single sheet of toilet paper.  This goes hand in hand with putting the damn seat down when you are done. There is nothing worse than going to the bathroom at four am, to have your ass fall into cold friggin water. Talk about being awake and pissed. Take a moment to just sit the lid back down.

Braille signs at drive up A.T.Ms. Seriously?

When someone is explaining something to me and throws in a random "do you know what i'm sayin?" every few sentences. I am old enough now to know how to ask a question if I don't understand what you mean. I don't need you to stop every three seconds and ask me if I do.

The slurping sound that someone does when they run out of drink in their cup. Sucking louder and harder is NOT going to make the cup refill itself.

Skinny jeans on a man. This is not a sexy trend.

Ice cube trays with 1 or 2 cubes in. Is it really that hard to dump the remaining cubes in the bin and refill the trays?

There are my pet peeves for the day. What are some of yours?
